A simple premise. Instead of buying a new chair or bookshelf, in an attempt to “fix” your room- why don’t you take a good look at what you have already?
You can shop your home to find the hidden gems. Once you have established what you need and what you like you can start falling in Love.

We met Sarah, a teen who needed her room to work for her as she makes the leap into maturity. She wanted a place to study, room for all her books and treasured items, a place for makeup ands accesories and a cool place to entertain friends.

After consulting with Sarah and her mom about her likes, dislikes, wants and needs, we created the room below. Every item we used was either found in Sarah’s room, or in the rest of the home.

The result – Sarah was thrilled with the uncluttered fun space that fulfilled her wants and needs. Afterward her mom wrote us a thank you note …. PS: Sarah was so motivated by your good work she tackled all of the “stuff” in the hall way and office, kept only a small fraction and gave the rest away… Talk about positive energy!

Look at what you can reuse.
Discard items that you dont like or that don’t work well.
Find items in other rooms to repurpose.
Feel free to let go of items you have outgrown, or dislike.
If you cannot afford a new item, reuse an old one as a placeholder.
Enjoy giving family and friends beloved items that you no longer use.
Letting go of material positions gives you room to live in, room to love in.
